Lighting Projects Saturn Range controllers and companion products provide a versatile system which can be tailored to your specific requirement enabling 8Bit resolution control of 512 lighting devices from a single DMX domain, or unlimited devices when any number of DMX controllers are linked together into a network. Control via the Saturn system offers lighting designers an easy-to-use, unlimited freedom of expression to create stunning lighting effects and colour scenes from an inexhaustible palette of 16.2 million colours. Optimised to to be fully operationally compatible with our extensive range of Lighting Projects LED lighting products, Saturn Control Systems enable total DMX control of LED lighting - from the smallest installation to a full DMX Universe - at the click of a button or the shift of a PC mouse.

For larger installations we offer the powerful versatility of the Saturn Titainus control system with full PC programmable DMX Interface. For smaller projects or use in applications where budgets would not have previously allowed we provide a range of simple DMX controllers allowing the colour mixing and chasing of all our LED light sources. DMX Control Protocol DMX512 protocol was originated in 1986 by the United States Institute for Theatre Technology (USITT) as a standardised controlling method for connecting lighting consoles to lighting dimmer modules. The protocol was revised in 1990 to improve flexibility in the controlling of complex effects lighting in theatrical and entertainment environments; and in turn resulted in the methodology making a ‘cross-over’ to the general lighting industry. More recently DMX512 has been universally adopted by the architectural lighting industry as the preferred protocol for colour mixing and multi-channel sequencing.

Chamaeleon DMX Replay Designed for use with the Saturn Titainus and Kalypso Systems, Chamaeleon DMX Replay is supplied with the necessary software allowing it to be programmed by a computer. It can then be left in ‘Stand Alone’ mode, whereby it will recall patterns and settings automatically, or it may be connected to a control plate or system for user control.
