Saturn Kalypso Pre-programable Memory Units (ST/DMX/)

With the ability to generate any DMX value RGB colour effect and offering complete colour control of illumination, Lighting Projects Saturn Kalypso DMX Memory Units provide an easy-to-use, low-cost, solution in any architectural, retail or exhibition application where the expense of an integral DMX system is either impractical or un-necessary. Traditionally, generating DMX scenes has involved costly equipment. Which in small installations usually meant that the controls were far more expensive than the light fittings, the end result being that dynamic lighting effects could only be used cost efficiently on larger installations.
The Saturn Kalypso DMX Memory Unit changes all that. Kalypso Units are compatible with any dimmable RGB light source and via pre-set or simple programming create a lighting effect scene, subtle or stunning, static or dynamic and save it for future use. Scenes are retained in the Kalypso Unit even if the power is lost Saturn Prometheus Control/‘Replay’ PC software is supplied as part of the Kalypso package and enables the unlimited creation of imaginative moods and scenes. Simply, simulate any light and colour effect you want, try it out on screen, save to disk and download to Kalypso to play.
Kalypso DMX Memory Units will control dimmable RGB incandescent, cold cathode, LED and fluorescent lighting to give complete and stunning control of coloured illumination. The controller is designed to meet the requirements of a wide range of users, from those who require a simple push button ‘On/Off’ choice of colours, to those who wish recall more complex programmed effects.
Kalypso DMX Memory Units are supplied with 7 pre-programmed effects, plus Saturn Prometheus Control/‘Replay’ PC software allowing you to create any scene you can imagine. Optionally, colours and DMX values can be prespecified, or where preferred, a Lighting Projects technician can program desired colour effects into a Kalypso Memory Unit on-site. Saturn Kalypso DMX Memory Units are supplied in their standard configuration with 7 pre-programmed effects including 3 timed cross-fades, dimming and dimming-up (intensification) and ‘Black-out’. Saturn Prometheus Control/‘Replay’ PC software is supplied as standard with the Kalypso control unit and enables the unlimited creation of imaginative moods and scenes. Non-Standard Options: Colours and DMX values can be pre-specified and factory loaded into Kalypso Units prior to delivery.
